Church goers often learn about ministry opportunities through the old-style church bulletins. In that format, the information is usually scant and there is little opportunity to preview a website, much less click to connect.
People need a better idea about getting involved and what the requirements on their time will be. But they have a natural hesitation to call or send an email.
Why not help people show their natural interest and then get involved more slowly - step by step? Once you identify someone who has a calling on their heart, bring them along slowly with news and opportunities.
Then, when they are fully ready, they will take action.
